9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association’s Aging Well Program takes place at the American Legion Post 62, 1055 Moffat County Road 7.

Noon. A meeting for women only of the Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Bud at 824-1793.

3:30 to 7 p.m. Aging Well age 50 and older swimming is at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7.

5:30 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association board meets for its monthly meeting at the Hayden Community Center, 300 S. Shelton Lane in Hayden. The meeting is open to the public.

Thursday, July 30

11 a.m. Moffat County Libraries story time takes place at the Moffat County Fairgrounds covered picnic area. Bring a lunch, sunscreen and hat. In case of stormy weather, call the library before 10:30 a.m. to learn whether the event has been canceled. This story time will be the final one hosted at the fairgrounds. Call 824-5116.

4 to 7 p.m. The Downtown Business Association hosts the Farmers Market at Alice Pleasant Park in downtown Craig. Local produce and products are for sale. Call Kay Jennings at 620-4917.

6 p.m. The Trap, Neuter, Release Program plans to host its first meeting at the Golden Cavvy Restaurant, 538 Yampa Ave. The group welcomes anyone who wants to humanely address the local feral cat population. Call Heather Lorio at 824-5438.

8 p.m. An open meeting of Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Bud at 824-1793.

Friday, July 31

8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics is at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.

9 to 11 a.m. A toddler/preschool playgroup takes place at Loudy-Simpson Park. Call Kevin at 824-1703 or Ann at 826-2717.

2 to 6 p.m. Pink Positive Ladies workshop at Holiday Inn, 300 S. Colo. Highway 13. Tickets are $67, and all participants receive two free books and a free relaxation CD. Money raised goes to help a local girl pay for eye surgery. Call 970-879-7277.

4 to 6 p.m. Author Bill Reich signs copies of his book, “Colorado Industries of the Past,” at the Museum of Northwest Colorado, 590 Yampa Ave. He also will make a historical presentation about flour mills. Call 824-6360.

5 p.m. The Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way, hosts bingo. Doors open at 5 p.m. Games begin at 6:15 p.m. Call Frank at 824-6131 or 620-0874.

7 p.m. Fellowship Group of Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 419 Yampa Ave. Call 326-6646.
