7 a.m. A Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the Hayden Lions Club will be held in the park in Hayden.
9 a.m. Register for the Yampa Valley Pregnancy Center’s second annual Walk for Life fund-raiser, which begins at 10 a.m., starting at The Center of Craig. There will be a five-kilometer walk and run followed by a barbecue at the Moffat County Fairgrounds covered picnic area. Call Sandy at 824-5204.
11 a.m. The Colorado Days Parade is on Main Street in Hayden. A barbecue in the park follows at noon.
11 a.m. The ninth annual OP Bar & Grill Poker Run begins at the restaurant and runs 130 miles through Meeker, Price Creek and Maybell. The cost is $8 a hand, with half benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Craig. The bar also will feature live music tonight and Saturday night. The winner of a Harley, at $100 a ticket, will be drawn Saturday evening. Sunday, an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet costs $7.75 at the motorcycle rodeo. Call 824-8918.

7 a.m. Colorado Days wraps up with a Dutch-Oven Breakfast in the park in Hayden. Sponsored by the Northwest Colorado Shrine Club.
8 to 11:30 a.m. Celebrate Craig Lodge No. 1577’s 75th anniversary. The Elks will start the celebration week with a pancake breakfast that’s open to the public. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children younger than 12. Call 824-3557.
5 p.m. United Mine Workers of America Local 1799 will have a nomination meeting at The Center of Craig.
7 p.m. The Holiday Inn of Craig offers free Texas Hold ‘Em poker tournaments every Sunday and Wednesday. One tournament starts at 7, and the second at 9:30 p.m. Call 824-4000.

11 a.m. There will be a raffle and fund-raising bake sale, and the snack bar will be open for lunch through July 29 at the Elks Lodge in celebration of its 75th anniversary.
2 p.m. The AARP Craig Chapter meets in the cafeteria at Sunset 1. Call 824-5123.

8:30 p.m. Grand Futures Prevention Coalition and the city of Craig will host their annual Splash Party for fifth- and sixth-graders until 10:30 p.m. at the city of Craig pool. The event includes prizes, pizza and music. Admission is $5 a person.

7 p.m. Heartbeat, a suicide survivor group, meets the fourth Wednesday at Serendipity Coffee House, 576 Yampa Ave.

7 p.m. The Downtown Business Association will hold an auction at the Alice Pleasant downtown park. The auction is a fund-raiser to help residents purchase school supplies. Call 824-2151 to make a donation.
7 p.m. The Boys & Girls Club of Craig is hosting College 101. The event will feature current college students providing an open and honest discussion about what it is like to go to college. The event is designed for students who recently graduated or who are entering their senior year of high school.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Stephen Potter of the Social Security Administration will be at Independent Life Center to teach service providers about Medicare Part D. This is the drug benefit that will start next January. Anyone who helps Medicare recipients is welcome. Call 826-0833.
