11 a.m. Moffat County Libraries story-time takes place at the Moffat County Fairgrounds covered picnic area. Bring a lunch, sunscreen and hat. In case of stormy weather, call the library before 10:30 a.m. to learn whether the event has been canceled. The theme of the day is dog safety. Call 824-5116.

4 to 6 p.m. Author Diana Allen Kouris signs copies of her new book, “Riding the Edge of an Era: Growing Up Cowboy on the Outlaw Trail,” at the Museum of Northwest Colorado, 590 Yampa Ave. Call 824-6360.

8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Humane Society of Moffat County hosts a garage sale at 2205 East Ninth St. The group is accepting donations other than adult clothes or large appliances. Call Ann at 826-2717 or 620-2014.

8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics takes place at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.

9 to 11 a.m. A toddler/preschool playgroup will takes place at Loudy-Simpson Park. Call Kevin at 824-1703 or Ann at 826-2717.
