9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The vacation bible school program, Avalanche Ranch – A Wild Ride Through God’s Word, will be held at Ridgeview Church of God, 690 Riford Road. Participants can register on the day of VBS or pre-register at 824-9619.

10 to 11 a.m. Moffat County Library presents The Puzzle of Dinosaurs at its 570 Green St. location. Stories and crafts are meant to help children solve the mystery of dinosaurs. Stories are to be read every half hour.

Noon to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Silpada Designs Open House is at the Center of Craig, 601 Yampa Ave. Women of Craig are invited to attend. Call Stephanie at 326-6578.

7 to 8 p.m. The Craig Cancer Support Group will meet at the Visiting Nurse Association, 745 Russell St.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. Child care is provided. Call Caroline at 620-0659.

2 to 4 p.m. Moffat County Library presents a Harry Potter party at the library, 570 Green St., in celebration of the release of the seventh book of the Harry Potter series, “Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows.” There will be crafts, games, trivia challenges, book reviews, snacks and prizes. People are welcome to dress up in wizard costumes. Call 824-5116.

Monday, July 23

7 p.m. The Moffat County Habitat for Humanity meets at the First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Pat Jones at 824-5222 in the morning or at 826-0234 in the afternoon.

Tuesday, July 24

7 p.m. Comunidad Integrada offers a free English and Spanish learning club, Intercambio, every Tuesday at The Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. Call 846-5521.

Wednesday, July 25

8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.

5:30 p.m. The Craig Beautification Committee has its weekly meeting at the Chamber of Commerce, 360 E. Victory Way. The public is invited to attend. Bring work gloves and gardening tools.

6:30 p.m. Moffat County Habitat for Humanity will hold its monthly meeting at the First Congregational Church, 645 Green St. The public is invited.

Thursday, July 26

11 a.m. The Craig branch of Moffat County Libraries hosts story-time at the south side of Craig City Park. The theme is Science Mysteries. Take sunscreen and a hat, as well as lunch and a drink, weather permitting.

Jeananne Wright, a renowned quilt appraiser certified by the American Quilter’s Society, will be in Craig to appraise your old and new quilts. Call 824-6213 to arrange an appointment.
