5:30 p.m. The monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Moffat County Libraries meets at the Craig branch, 570 Green St. The public is invited.

Tuesday, July 17

9 to 9:30 a.m. The Moffat County Department of Social Services distributes United States Department of Agriculture commodities at the Maybell Community Center. Recipients must be recertified each year. A picture ID, proof of address and income or current eligibility is required. Call 824-8282.

The “Look Good : Feel Better” program will be held at Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association, 745 Russell St. It is a free program that teaches women with cancer beauty techniques to help deal with the appearance-related side effect of cancer treatment. 6 p.m. There is a bowling pin shoot at Bears Ears Gun Range. Call Steve Sloan (826-9788 in the evenings) or Robin (824-613 in the days).

6 p.m. A public meeting will be held at the Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way, to discuss soccer field expansion at Loudy-Simpson Park. Those interested should attend the meeting.

7 p.m. Comunidad Integrada offers a free English and Spanish learning club, Intercambio, every Tuesday at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. Call 846-5521.

The Craig Beautification Committee is meeting for a work project at the Chamber of Commerce, 360 E. Victory Way. New members welcome; bring work gloves and gardening tools.

8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.
