11 a.m. Moffat County Libraries story-time takes place at the Moffat County Fairgrounds covered picnic area. Bring a lunch, sunscreen and hat. In case of stormy weather, call the library before 10:30 a.m. to learn whether the event has been canceled. The Craig Police Department will make a presentation. Call 824-5116.

4 to 7 p.m. The Downtown Business Association hosts the Farmers Market at Alice Pleasant Park in downtown Craig. Local produce and products are for sale. Call Kay Jennings at 620-4917.

6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Hayden/Craig Caregiver Support Group meets at the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association office in Craig, 745 Russell St. The meetings are alternated monthly between Craig and Hayden. Respite care is the focus of the meeting. Call Karen at 875-1888 or Diane at 875-1891.

8 p.m. An open meeting of Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Bud at 824-1793.

Friday, July 17

8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics takes place at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.

9 to 11 a.m. A toddler/preschooler playgroup will meet at Loudy-Simpson Park. Call Kevin at 824-1703 or Ann at 826-2717.

3:30 to 7 p.m. Open swimming takes place at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.

5 p.m. The Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way, hosts bingo. Doors open at 5 p.m. Games begin at 6:15 p.m. Call Frank at 824-6131 or 620-0874.

7 p.m. Fellowship Group of Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 419 Yampa Ave. Call 326-6646.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at 1150 W. Ninth St. The group is designed to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups. Child care is provided, and late-comers are welcome. Call 824-5926.

Saturday, July 18

9:45 a.m. Motorcyclists meet at the Drifter’s Inn, 210 Penland St. in Baggs, Wyo., for the start of the Dove’s Nest Foundation Motorcycle Run, which rides from Baggs to Walden to Steamboat Springs to Craig. Organizers ask that each rider bring a canned good to donate. Call 970-756-KIDS or 307-380-7018.

Noon. The Northwest Colorado Shrine Club will be hosting a barbeque at Hayden City Park after the Hayden Daze parade to raise money for Shriners Hospitals for Children. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children age 10 and younger.
