8:30 a.m. The Moffat County Commissioners meet at the courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way.

7:30 p.m. The Craig City Council meets in council chambers of City Hall, 400 W. Fourth St.

Wednesday, July 13
1 p.m. The Small Business Development Center of Craig will offer a free workshop on business start-up until 4 p.m. at The Center of Craig. Call 824-7078.

6:30 p.m. Colorado First Conservation District is hosting a Local Work Group meeting for EQIP and WHIP programs at 356 Ranney St.

7 p.m. A free puppet show, “Yampa River Critters,” is at the Children’s Amphitheater at Yampa River Botanic Park.

7 p.m. There will be a Class of 1985 reunion at the OP Bar and Grill. Call Rodney at 824-2325.
7 p.m. A Teen Poker Night, featuring Texas hold ’em, will be held at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig. There is a $5 admission charge.

7 a.m. The Yampa Valley Landlord Association will hold a training session in the Red Cross Building. Call 824-7120.

2 p.m. The Caregiver Support Group meets at Sandrock Ridge Care and Rehabilitation Center. Call Regina Grinolds at 824-3985.

2 p.m. There will be a Class of 1985 reunion barbecue at the Shadow Mountain Clubhouse. Call Rodney at 824-2325.

5:30 p.m. Hayden’s Colorado Days celebration features a bratwurst picnic at the park in Hayden.

6 p.m. The Yampa Valley Landlord Association hosts its summer picnic at the Columbine Pool.

6:30 p.m. The Moffat County School District Board of Directors meets in the boardroom of the School Administration Building.

7 p.m. The Craig/Rural Fire Protection District board of directors meets at the fire station.

Friday, July 22
10 a.m. Shriners’ 16th annual fund-raising golf tournament starts with registration at Yampa Valley Golf Course. The tournament starts at 11 a.m.

5 p.m. Hon. John Kane, senior judge of the U.S. District Court in Denver and member of numerous commissions on drug laws, will speak about the war on drugs and its effects on the criminal justice system as part of the free Seminars at Steamboat series at Centennial Hall in Steamboat.

Saturday, July 23
9 a.m. Register for the Yampa Valley Pregnancy Center’s second annual Walk for Life fund-raiser, which begins at 10 a.m., starts at The Center of Craig. Call Sandy at 824-5204.

Sunday, July 24
8 a.m. Celebrate Craig Lodge No. 1577’s 75th anniversary. The Elks will start the celebration week with a pancake breakfast that’s open to the public. $5 for adults and $3 for children.
