10 and 11:30 a.m. Moffat County Libraries’ Craig branch, 570 Green St., will host story-hours. The theme is “Snow People.”

8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Stewardship meets at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion. The group will discuss the role of adaptive management in the community alternative for the Bureau of Land Management Resource Management Plan revision.

6:30 p.m. The Recreational After-school Doorway, or RAD, will sponsor a Mystery Dinner Theater. Tickets are $40 each or $350 a table. Cash bar begins at 6:30 p.m., and dinner starts at 7 p.m. All proceeds benefit RAD. Call 826-0199.

6 to 7:30 p.m. The Moffat County School District will host a Literacy Carnival at the high school for students in preschool to sixth grade. A parent or adult guardian must accompany children.

Saturday, Jan. 21
1 to 2 p.m. SHARE Craig, which works to provide low-cost groceries to residents, will distribute items at St. Michael’s Church, 678 School St. Call Karen at 824-7939.

Saturday, Jan. 28
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tryouts for the Local Talent Concert of the Craig Concert Association will be at the Moffat County High School Auditorium. The talent concert will be at 2 p.m. March 12. Call Jim Simpson at 824-4138.

10 a.m. to noon. The VFW Post No. 4265 will host two “Just Say No to Drugs” Coloring Contests at its hall, 419 E. Victory Way, upstairs. One contest is for students in first through fourth grades. The group will provide the coloring sheets and crayons, but participants also can bring crayons. The group also will sponsor a poster contest for students in fifth through eighth grades. Participants should bring a poster board no larger than 18-by-24-inches. Parents or guardians must be with contestants to sign an entry form. Refreshments will be served.
