10 and 11:30 a.m. Story-time takes place in the children’s room at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St.
3 to 5 p.m. The Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership, Craig Chamber of Commerce and Breckinridge Small Business Development Center host the “U.S. Small Business Administration Business Success Seminar: Sales techniques that really work” in the second floor conference room at the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. The class is $10, or free to EDP and Chamber members.
4 to 6 p.m. A hot lunch is served at no cost at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The church is looking for volunteers to help set up and cook, as well as drivers to deliver some meals. Call 824-5330.
6 p.m. The Craig Trap Club begins its Polar Bear League, which is open to anyone with a shotgun. The Trap Club is located two miles west of town on U.S. Highway 40. Call Dick King at 824-6544 or 824-3924 after 6 p.m.
Participate in The Longevity Project
The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
6 p.m. Moffat County High School hosts the 2010 Senior/Parent Financial Aid Meetings at the high school library, 900 Finley Lane. Grants, loans, work-study and scholarships will be discussed. Seniors should plan to attend with a parent. All needed forms will be available. Call Paula Duzik at 826-6610.
