10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Story time takes place at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St. Families can enjoy guest speakers, skits, activities and songs. Call 824-5116.

4 to 6 p.m. A free hot lunch is served at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The church is looking for volunteers to help set up and cook. Call 824-5330.



5 p.m. The Moffat County High School girls freshmen basketball team plays Hayden High School at MCHS, 900 Finley Lane.

6 p.m. A senior parent financial aid meeting takes place at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane. The financial aid process and local scholarships will be discussed. Call Paula Duzik at 826-6610.

2 p.m. Colorado State Parks, in conjunction with the Northwest Colorado Snowmobile Club, hosts a free avalanche awareness session in the auditorium at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane.

4 p.m. The Moffat County High School girls varsity swimming team competes in the Moffat County Invitational at MCHS, 900 Finley Lane.

5 p.m. The Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way, hosts bingo. Doors open at 5 p.m. Games begin at 6:15 p.m. Call Frank at 824-6131 or 620-0874.

5 to 8 p.m. The Craig Variety Show takes place at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 419 E. Victory Way. The show includes performances by local singers/songwriters, poets and storytellers. Call Bill Ronis at 620-6589.
