10 and 11:30 a.m. The Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries hosts story-time at the library, 570 Green St. This week’s theme is stories by author Robert Munsch.

5:30 to 7 p.m. Comunidad Integrada/Integrated Community hosts an open house at its new office, 510 Breeze St. Tamales and refreshments will be provided. The event is open to the public.

Friday, Feb. 8

The Craig Centennial Poster Contest ends. All entries must be delivered to Pam’s Designs, 512 Yampa Ave., by 5 p.m. Call 824-8244.

10 a.m. to noon. Northwest Colorado Home School Association co-op classes are at the American Legion. Call Michelle at 620-0283.

12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Northwest Colorado Home School Association PE classes are at the Boys & Girls Club. Call Michelle at 620-0283.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups in a safe environment. Live worship music and child care are provided. Late comers are welcome. Call Caroline at 620-0659.

Saturday, Feb. 9

5 to 7 p.m. All Craig Centennial Poster entries will be on display at the Center of Craig. The public is invited to attend and vote for favored entries. Call 824-5343.

5 to 9 p.m. The 13th annual Art Walk, co-sponsored by the Downtown Business Association and the Colorado Northwestern Community College pottery program, is in downtown Craig.

6 p.m. The National Wild Turkey Federation hosts its annual Hunting Heritage Banquet at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion. Doors open at 6 p.m., and dinner begins at 7 p.m. Call Pam at 824-6811 or 824-4910.

Sunday, Feb. 10

8:30 a.m. to noon. The Moffat County 4-H/FFA market beef mandatory weigh-in and tagging takes place at the Moffat County Fairgrounds. To show or sell a market beef animal or animals at the 2008 Moffat County Fair, animals must be tagged and weighed in on this date. Call the Moffat County Extension Office at 824-9180.

1:30 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary bingo is at the VFW Hall, 419 E. Victory Way. The event is open to the public. Sunday bingo sessions occur every week. Call Mary Walters at 824-2923.

Monday, Feb. 11

9 to 11 a.m. Toddler/preschool playgroup is at Serendipity’s. Call Kevin at 824-1703.

6 p.m. The Humane Society of Moffat County meets at the Golden Cavvy. The public is invited to attend.

Tuesday, Feb. 12

9 to 11 a.m. United States Department of Agriculture commodities are to be distributed by the Moffat County Department of Social Services in Craig at 595 Breeze St. (northeast alley entrance). All households that receive commodities must be recertified each year. A picture ID, proof of address and income or current eligibility is required. Call Social Services at 824-8282.

6:30 to 8:15 p.m. “Pulse” Young group, for youths ages 11 to 18, meets every Tuesday at the New Creation Church in the Centennial Mall. Call 756-0010.

7 p.m. Comunidad Integrada offers a free English and Spanish learning club, Intercambio, every Tuesday at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. The club is for all ages. Call 824-6424.

7 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Habitat Partnership Program committee is hosting a public meeting at the Maybell Community Center. Maybell landowners are invited. Call Kelli Scott at 824-2526.

Wednesday, Feb. 13

8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.
