Craig Fire/Rescue Firefighters Ball tickets are available. The ball will be held at 9 p.m. March 4. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from any firefighter or by calling 824-5914.



Dentist Jerry Thalken of Northwest Colorado Dental Care will participate in Give Kids a Smile day. He will provide free oral health care to low-income children. Call 824-1178 to make an appointment.

Saturday, Feb. 4

2 and 7:30 p.m. The Yampa Valley Chapter of Sweet Adelines and Craig Performing Arts Project present, “Way, Way Off Broadway” at the Moffat County High School auditorium. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children younger than 12 and senior citizens.

Sunday, Feb. 5

1 to 5 p.m. The Craig Bridal Faire ’06 convenes at the Craig Holiday Inn. The event includes 22 businesses offering services and products for weddings. Admission is free. The event is open to the public. Call event co-sponsor Magic Carpet Travel at 824-1951.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

7 p.m. The Parents of Methamph-etamine Addicts support group meets the first and third Tuesday every month in the library of Calvary Baptist Church. The group is confidential. No law enforcement or Communities Overcoming Meth Abuse board members will be present. Call 629-1469.

5 to 7 p.m. SHARE Craig, which works to provide low-cost groceries to residents, has registration at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. Call Karen at 824-7939.

Thursday, Feb. 9

4 to 5 p.m. The Moffat County Library, 570 Green St., offers a session on creating Valentine’s cards. The event includes creating Valentines, snacks and Valentine’s stories for participants ages 4 to 10.

Saturday, Feb. 11

8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The 93rd annual Winter Carnival Street Events are in Steamboat Springs. Call Jody Anagnos at the Chamber of Commerce at 879-0882, ext. 203, to volunteer or for more information.

8 a.m. The 15th annual Western Ride-In Antique & Vintage Snowmobile Show, Sell and Swap is at the Wyman Living History Ranch and Museum, one mile east of Craig on U.S. Highway 40. Show registration runs until 10:30 a.m., judging is from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Events include broom ball, radar runs, barrel races and chili cook-off, begin at 1 p.m. The event is free. 5 p.m. The local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will have its eighth annual banquet in Craig.
