9 to 11 a.m. United States Department of Agriculture commodities are to be distributed by the Moffat County Department of Social Services in Craig at 595 Breeze St. (North east alley entrance). All households that receive commodities must be recertified each year. A picture ID, proof of address and income or current eligibility is required. Call Social Services at 824-8282.

6:30 to 8:15 p.m. “Pulse” Young group, for youths ages 11 to 18, meets every Tuesday at the New Creation Church in the Centennial Mall. Call 756-0010.

7 p.m. Comunidad Integrada offers a free English and Spanish learning club, Intercambio, every Tuesday at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. The club is for all ages. Call 824-6424.

7 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Habitat Partnership Program committee is hosting a public meeting at the Maybell Community Center. Maybell landowners are invited. Call Kelli Scott at 824-2526.

Wednesday, Feb. 13

8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.

9:30 a.m. The Craig Book Club meets Thursday at Serendipity Coffee Shop. “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime” by Mark Haddon will be reviewed by Bonnie Thompson. Call Susie at 824-1956.

10 and 11:30 a.m. Story time is at the Craig branch of Moffat County Libraries. This week’s theme is Valentine’s Day.

4 to 5 p.m. The Craig Poets meet at Downtown Books, 543 Yampa Ave., to discuss and practice the haiku form of poetry. The event is free and open to anyone interested in poetry. Call 824-5343.

Friday, Feb. 15

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.
