Noon to 7 p.m. The Centennial Mall Winter Arts and Crafts is at the mall, 1111 W. Victory Way. Santa Claus will be at the mall from 2 to 6 p.m.
6 p.m. Craig Youth Soccer Association will have a sign-up and practice for indoor soccer in the gym of Craig Middle School, 915 Yampa Ave. The group will have four sessions in December and more after winter break. The cost is $25. Call Lashanna Cox at 826-2827.

8 a.m. Registration begins for the Elks National Hoop Shoot for boys and girls ages 8 to 13 at Craig Middle School, 915 Yampa Ave. The event begins at 9 a.m. Participants must show a copy of their birth certificates. To register early, call Jody or Dora Watson at 824-2251.

6:30 p.m. The Colorado Wilderness Network will host a joint John Fielder/Colorado Environmental Coalition open house at the Center of Craig, 601 Yampa Ave. Fielder will discuss and present a slideshow of his newest book, “Colorado 1870-2000 II.” Signed copies of his book will be on sale, with proceeds benefiting the Friends of Northwest Colorado Conservation Scholarship fund.

1 to 2 p.m. SHARE Craig, a program working to provide affordable groceries, will distribute items at St. Michael’s Church, 678 School St. To receive the items, participants must have registered. Call Karen at 824-7939.
4 p.m. The Browns Park and Maybell Community Christmas party is at Lodore Hall in Browns Park. A traditional turkey and ham dinner will be served.
