1 p.m. Overeaters Anonymous meets at the First Congregational Church. The support group meets at 1 p.m. Saturdays and 7 p.m. Wednesdays. Call 824-6915.

7 p.m. Tugs and Traces Driving Club will hold its December meeting, potluck and party at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, in the parish hall. The event is open to the public, and guests are encouraged to bring a potluck dish.

1:30 p.m. Local members of Veterans of Foreign Wars will have bingo at the organization’s hall, 419 E. Victory Way.

5 to 7 p.m. SHARE Craig, which works to provide groceries to residents at low prices, will have a registration day at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 678 School St. Call Karen at 824-7939.



7 p.m. Chloe Gilchrist, whose articles about her recent Semester at Sea trip were published in the Craig Daily Press, will speak at Craig Middle School. Gilchrist will share photos and stories from her trip. The event is free and open to the public.

Friday, Jan. 6
7 p.m. The Greenridge Mountaineers Square Dance Club will gather at Hayden Congregational Church, 202 E. Jefferson Ave. in Hayden. The group meets each Friday in January. Call Lois Norman at 824-6773.

Saturday, Jan. 7
6:30 p.m. Comunidad Integrada will sponsor a food bazaar celebrating the culinary heritage of Mexico, Central America and South America at Holy Name Catholic Church, 524 Oak St. in Steamboat Springs. All proceeds will go toward Comunidad Integrada’s programs. Proceeds will be doubled through a $5,000 challenge grant from the Penrose Institute.

Monday, Jan. 9
5:15 p.m. The Humane Society of Moffat County will hold its regular meeting at the Golden Cavvy Restaurant, 538 Yampa Ave. The meeting is open to the public. Call 870-7500.

Friday, Jan. 13
6:30 p.m. The Recreational After–school Doorway, or RAD, will sponsor a Mystery Dinner Theater. Tickets are $40 each or $350 a table. Cash bar begins at 6:30 p.m., and dinner starts at 7 p.m. All proceeds benefit RAD. Call 826-0199.

Wednesday, Feb. 8
8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Meeker Community Resource Center will host a workshop for board members of nonprofit organizations at Mountain Valley Bank, 400 Main St., in Meeker. The fee is $50 and includes training, materials, breakfast and lunch. Topics include engaging volunteers, legal obligations, board roles and responsibilities.
