8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a Meet-and-Greet, hosted by a local business.

9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Aging Well’s all-day program, “Wellness Wednesdays” is at the American Legion Building in Craig for adults “50 and Better.” This week’s lunchtime presentation is “The Caregiver Support Program and the Senior Equipment and Services Program,” by Nancy McStay, RN, program director for the Caregiver Support Program and Senior Equipment and Services Program.

10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Story time at the Moffat Counties Libraries Craig branch, 570 Green St., is about the world and culture.

Friday, Dec. 21

5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The second annual Moffat County High School girls swim team Parents Night Out is at Ridgeview Elementary School. The swim team is scheduled to provide dinner, crafts and activities for children. Tickets cost $15, and proceeds go to the swim team. Call Kim at 824-8841 to make reservations.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups, in a safe environment. Live worship music and childcare are provided. Late comers are welcome. Call Caroline at 620-0659.

Saturday, Dec. 22

All branches of the Moffat County Libraries will be closed for the holidays.

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Santa Claus will be at the Centennial Mall, sponsored by DECA.

Sunday, Dec. 23

1:30 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary bingo is at the VFW Hall, 419 E. Victory Way. It is open to the public. Sunday bingo sessions occur every week. Call Mary Walters at 824-2923.

2 p.m. Sandrock Ridge Care & Rehab invites the community to its Christmas Party. Santa & Mrs. Claus are scheduled to attend. Refreshments will be served. Call Mary at 826-4100.

3:30 p.m. Hayden Congregational United Church of Christ will be caroling from a horse-drawn hay wagon through the downtown streets of Hayden beginning at 3:30 p.m., followed by a chili supper in the Parish Hall.

11 p.m. St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church at 691 Green St. is hosting Matins of the Nativity, followed by Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom at midnight.

Tuesday, Dec. 25

All branches of the Moffat County Libraries will be closed for the holidays.

7 p.m. Juliann Albaugh, a native of Craig, will sing ‘O Holy Night’ at the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at Fist Congregational Church, 630 Green St.

Wednesday, Dec. 26

Aging Well’s all-day program, “Wellness Wednesdays,” is canceled.

Thursday, Jan. 3

10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Story time at the Moffat Counties Libraries Craig branch, 570 Green St., is author day. Listen to stories written by Jane Yolen.

1 to 4 p.m. The VFW Ladies Auxiliary No. 4265 sponsors the “Just Say No” coloring contest for students, grades first through eighth, upstairs of the VFW Restaurant, 419 E. Victory Way. Call 824-6810
