6 p.m. Moffat County High School hosts a freshman parent meeting in the high school library. Parents are invited to come and learn more about the high school and meet the freshman mentors and administrators. For more information, call the high school at 824-7036.

6:30 to 7 p.m. Sunset Elementary hosts its open house.

Today is the last day to register for full-semester classes at Colorado Northwestern Community College. For registration information at the CNCC Craig campus, call Windy Shue at 824-1100.

8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet and greet hosted by a local business.

Noon. The Ladies Golf Club luncheon takes place at Tin Cup Grill. Call 824-6445.

6 to 8 p.m. Colorado Northwestern Community College hosts its annual Community Appreciation barbecue at the Craig campus. All community members and students are invited to attend. The college will provide the food and music.

6:30 p.m. The Moffat County Dem-ocrats hosts a general meeting at Loudy-Simpson Park. Call 824-3108.

Thursday, Aug. 30

10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Story time is at the Craig Branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St. Today’s theme is space.

3 to 6 p.m. The Downtown Business Association is sponsoring a farmers market at Alice Pleasant Park, off Yampa Avenue. Those wishing to sell their products need to take tables, change and price signs. Call Carol Jacobson at 824-5343.

Friday, Aug. 31

5:30 p.m. Northwest Colorado Homeschool Association hosts its annual potluck for all families interested in becoming part of our group, or interested in joining us again for another year.
