8:30 a.m. The Moffat County Commission meets at the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. The meeting is open to the public. Call 824-5517.
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A free hot lunch is served at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The church is looking for volunteers to help set up and cook, as well as drivers to deliver some meals. Call 824-5330.

Participate in The Longevity Project
The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
Noon. The Craig Lions Club meets at the Golden Cavvy, 538 Yampa Ave. Visitors are welcome. The Lions Club is an international organization that provides the community with vision projects and eye screenings for area children. Call Al Shepherd at 824-6697.
1 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Craig Pool Complex is open for swimming. The cost is $4 for adults 18 years and older, $3.25 for swimmers from 12- to 17-years-old, swimmers from 4- to 11-years-old can swim for $3 each and swimmers 3 and younger and 55 and over can swim for free. 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The Hayden Chamber of Commerce presents the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus at the Dry Creek Park in Hayden. Advance tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for children ages 2 to 12, and are available at Hayden Mat and Frame, the Bear River Co-op, the Hayden Public Library, the Hiway Bar and from Hayden Chamber board members. Children younger than 2 are free.
5:15 p.m. The Craig Beautification Committee meets at the Craig Chamber of Commerce, 360 E. Victory Way. There will be a workshop at the Victory Garden following the meeting.
5:30 p.m. The Craig Daily Press and KRAI host a candidate forum for local, state and congressional candidates seeking public office at Centennial Mall, 1111 W. Victory Way.
6:30 p.m. The Moffat County Planning & Zoning Commission meets in the Council Chambers of Craig City Hall, 300 W. Fourth St. Call 824-9148.
