5 to 8 p.m. Colorado Northwestern Community College hosts a community appreciation barbecue at the new Craig campus. The barbecue takes place in the common area between the school’s academic and career technical buildings. The event is open to the public.

5 to 8 p.m. Geokinetics performs a seismic survey demonstration at Loudy-Simpson Park. The event is open to the public.



5:15 p.m. Doak Walker tackle football games take place at Woodbury Sports Complex, 350 Mack Lane.

10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Story-time takes place at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St. Families can enjoy guest speakers, skits, activities and songs. Call 824-5116.

3 to 6 p.m. An open house for new students takes place at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane. Call the school at 824-7036.

4 p.m. The Moffat County School Board hosts a workshop at the Moffat County School District administrative building, 775 Yampa Ave. The meeting is open to the public.
