The Moffat County Libraries will close early today. The Maybell and Craig branches will close at 4 and 5 p.m., respectively.

10 and 11:30 a.m. Story time takes place in the children’s room at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St.

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. “The Eyes Have It” vision expo takes place at the Haven Community Center, 300 S. Shelton Lane, in Hayden. There will be presentations and information available about aging eyes and vision loss. Call the Independent Life Center at 826-0833.

4 to 7 p.m. The Downtown Business Association hosts the Farmers Market at Alice Pleasant Park in downtown Craig. Local produce and products are for sale. Call Kay Jennings at 620-4917.

8:30 to 10 a.m. Senior swimnastics takes place at the American Legion Post 62 pool, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.

9 to 11 a.m. Playgroup for toddler/preschool-age children takes place at Loudy-Simpson Park. Call Kevin at 824-1703 or Ann at 826-2717.

5 p.m. The Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way, hosts bingo. Doors open at 5 p.m. Games begin at 6:15 p.m. Call Frank at 824-6131 or 620-0874.

7 p.m. Fellowship Group of Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 419 Yampa Ave. Call 326-6646.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at 1150 W. Ninth St. The group is designed to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups. Child care is provided, and late-comers are welcome. Call 824-5926.

Saturday, Aug. 15

9 a.m. to 2 p.m. First Congregational Church, 630 Green St., hosts its first “Junk in the Trunk” community yard sale in the south parking lot. The cost for sellers is $10 for two parking spaces and a table, if needed. Call pastor Bob Woods at 824-6836 between 9 a.m. and noon.

11 a.m. The Craig Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual Mud Splash mud volleyball tournament at Loudy-Simpson Park, west of the soccer fields. Call 824-5689.

1 p.m. Mini billiards tournament and sign-up social at The Popular Bar, 24 W. Victory Way. Cost is $5. For more information, call Steve or Jolene Walls at 824-2214 or 620-0056.

6:15 p.m. American Legion Post 62 hosts bingo at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.
