9 a.m. Rally For The Cure cancer benefit golf event takes place at Yampa Valley Golf Course, 2179 Highway 394. Proceeds benefit the Susan G. Koman Cancer Foundation and the Moffat County Cancer Society. Call Susan Utzinger at 824-9656.

7 p.m. Colorado Northwestern Community College student government sponsors a performance of Emerald City Opera’s “The Elixir of Love” at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1295 W. Ninth St. The event is free and open to the public.

The Moffat County Libraries will be closing early today. The Maybell and Craig branches will close at 4 and 5 p.m., respectively.
10 and 11:30 a.m. Story-time takes place in the children’s room at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St.
