9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Aging Well Program sponsors Wellness Wednesdays for adults ages 50 and older at American Legion Post 62, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Options include art, writing and exercise classes. Lunch is served at each week’s lunchtime presentation. Call 871-7676.

11:30 a.m. The Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership Board meets in the main floor conference room of the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. See the agenda on page 17. Call 826-2039.

5:30 p.m. A meeting for women only of the Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Call Penny at 824-1793.



Thursday, April 21

10 and 11:30 a.m. Story-time takes place at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St. Families can enjoy guest speakers, skits, activities and songs. Call 824-5116.

4 to 6 p.m. A free hot lunch is served at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The church is looking for volunteers to help set up and cook and drivers to help deliver meals. Call 824-5330.



4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The Craig Sea Sharks host registration for summer swim club in the Craig Middle School cafeteria, 915 Yampa Ave. Youths ages 5 to 18 must be able to swim the length of the pool to participate. The silver team, for $130, will practice two mornings a week and the gold team, for $230, will practice five mornings a week. Call Bonnie Hulstine at 824-5662.

5:30 p.m. The Moffat County Cattlewomen host a meeting at the Moffat County School District bus garage. The meeting is open to women interested in promoting agriculture. Call Kacey Green at 826-0738.

7 p.m. The Craig Youth Hockey Association hosts a spring meeting at the Holiday Inn of Craig, 300 S. Colorado Highway 13. Call Stephanie Beckett at 824-9120.

Friday, April 22

9 a.m. An indoor garage sale to benefit Jane Milligan takes place under the grandstands at the Moffat County Fairgrounds. Call John Milligan at 756-7460.

9 to 11 a.m. Playgroup for toddler/preschool-age children takes place at the Early Childhood Development Preschool at the Moffat County School District administrative building, 775 Yampa Ave. Call Carissa at 826-9742.

5 p.m. The Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way, hosts bingo. Doors open at 5 p.m. Games begin at 6:15 p.m. Call Frank at 824-6131 or 620-0874.
