A portion of tonight’s proceeds from the Golden Cavvy, Carelli’s, Casa Loya, Wendy’s and Pizza Hut will be donated to Moffat County Court Appointed Special Advocates, a local volunteer organization that guides children through the court system.
6:50 a.m. The Craig Rotary Club meets at the Golden Cavvy, 538 Yampa Ave. Visitors are welcome to attend. Call 826-4444.
8:30 a.m. The Moffat County Commission meets at the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. The meeting is open to the public. Call 824-5517.
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A free hot lunch is served at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678School St. The church is looking for volunteers to help set up and cook and drivers to help deliver meals. Call 824-5330.
Noon. The Craig Lions Club meets at the Golden Cavvy, 538 Yampa Ave. Visitors are welcome. The Lions Club is an international organization that provides the community with vision projects and eye screenings for area children. Call Al Shepherd at 824-6697.
12:30 to 6 p.m. The Memorial Hospital, 750 Hospital Loop, hosts a blood drive. Schedule an appointment by calling the Bonfills Appointment Center at 1-800-365-0006 opt. 2 or 303-363-2300. Local contact Michelle Moore can be reached at 826-2274.
5 p.m. Weight Watchers meets at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The weigh-in begins at 5 p.m., and the meeting begins at 6 p.m. Call Susie Violette at 824-1956.
6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sagebrush Reading Council presents a free family concert featuring musician, songwriter and educator John Farrell at the Craig Middle School auditorium, 915 Yampa Ave. Call Amy Jones at 826-6509.
6:30 p.m. The Yampa Valley Piecemakers Quilt Guild meets at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 377 Cedar Court. The meeting is open to the public. Call Janice Hunsaker at 824-7931.
7 p.m. American Legion Post 62’s monthly meeting takes place at the post headquarters, 1055 Moffat County Road 7. Call 824-3625.
8 p.m. A closed meeting of Craig Group One Alcoholics Anonymous takes place at First Congregational Church, 630 Green St. Closed meetings are only for people with a desire to stop drinking. Call Bud at 824-1793.
