9 a.m. to noon. A spring bazaar takes place at Craig Christian Church, 960 W. Victory Way. Homemade gifts, sweet rolls and coffee will be available. There also will be a bake sale. The event is open to the public.

11 a.m. Moffat County High School hosts a performance of its spring play, “Alice in Wonderland,” in the auditorium, 900 Finley Lane. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 5 to 12 and free for children younger than 5. A tea party with cast members will take place after the performance for children and families. The cost is $3 per person for tea and snacks. For more information, call 824-7036.

Noon to 1 p.m. Open lap swimming takes place at the Moffat County High School swimming pool, 900 Finley Lane. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students. Punch and season passes are available. Call 826-6557.



1 p.m. The annual Putt-Putt Classic begins at Mathers Louge & Café, 420 Yampa Ave. The cost is $5 per team. Entrants must be older than 21 and supply their own golf balls and putters.

1 p.m. The North Western Colorado Bull Sale is at the Routt County Fairgrounds in Hayden. Viewing begins at 9 a.m., with lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For information or to request a sale catalog, call the Colorado State University Routt County Extension at 879-0825 or the Community Agriculture Alliance at 879-4370.

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

5 p.m. The Yampa Valley Chapter of Safari Club International hosts its annual banquet and fundraiser at the Holiday Inn. Tickets are $45 a person or $85 for a couple. Call 824-9624.
