10 and 11:30 a.m. Storytime takes place in the children’s room at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St.
Noon. Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide meets at The Memorial Hospital, 750 Hospital Loop. Everyone is welcome. Call Ronna Autrey at 879-2941 or 846-8182.
2 to 5 p.m. The Census Assist Center is open at Moffat County Services, 595 Breeze St. The center provides residents with answers to questions, replacement forms and/or assistance in another language.
4 p.m. The Moffat County High School girls varsity soccer team plays Palisade High School at Woodbury Sports Complex, 350 S. Mack Lane.
4 to 6 p.m. A free hot lunch is served at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The church is looking for volunteers to help set up and cook, as well as drivers to deliver meals. Call 824-5330.
Participate in The Longevity Project
The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
5:30 p.m. The Moffat County Cowbelles monthly meeting takes place at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. All women interested in promoting agriculture are invited to attend. Call Betty Ann Duzik at 756-4268 or Kacey Green at 826-0738.
6 to 7 p.m. Open lap swimming takes place at the Moffat County High School swimming pool, 900 Finley Lane. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students. Punch and season passes are available. Call 826-6557.
6:30 p.m. Moffat County High School hosts a performance of its spring play, “Alice in Wonderland,” in the auditorium, 900 Finley Lane. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children younger than 5. A tea party with cast members takes place after the performance for children and families. The cost is $3 per person for tea and snacks. Call 824-7036.
7 p.m. The Yampa Valley Men’s Club hosts its annual appreciation dinner at the Tin Cup Grill, 2179 Highway 394. Cocktails are served at 6:30 p.m., and dinner begins 30 minutes later. All men’s club members are invited to the free dinner. 2010 dues can be paid at the event. RSVP to Tin Cup Grill at 824-3764.
