Noon. The Craig Lions Club meets at the Golden Cavvy, 538 Yampa Ave. Visitors are welcome. The Lions Club is an international organization that provides the community with vision projects and eye screenings for area children. Call Al Shepherd at 824-6697.
Participate in The Longevity Project
The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
4 p.m. The MCHS boys varsity baseball team plays Steamboat Springs High School at Craig Middle School, 915 Yampa Ave.
5 to 8 p.m. Nurturing Parenting classes are in the boardroom at the Moffat County School District administrative building, 775 Yampa Ave. All classes are free, and dinner will be served. Call Lynae Ellgen at 826-6282.
6:30 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Habitat Partnership Program committee is having its monthly meeting at the Craig Chamber of Commerce, 360 E. Victory Way. The public is welcome. Call 824-0347.
7 p.m. Carelli’s Pizzeria, 465 Yampa Ave., hosts open mic night. Sign up takes place at 6:30 p.m. Music begins 30 minutes later. The event is open to the public.
