Darlene Sally Jaramillo, 1958-2005

Darlene Sally Jaramillo died Nov. 13, 2005, in Denver after a brief illness. She was 47.

Darlene Sally Jaramillo was born Jan. 21, 1958, in Apple Valley, Calif., to William and Dovey (Stone) Rogers.

She was raised and attended school in Redding, where she graduated from high school. She worked as a manager for Hometown Buffet while living in California. She later moved to Colorado where she met and married Gilbert Jaramillo in Hot Sulphur Springs on Sept. 21, 2001. They made their home in Craig where she worked as a waitress at the Galaxy restaurant. She enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales and her dogs. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church.



She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Jaramillo of Craig; daughter, Alecia York of Anderson, Calif.; sons Sonny York of Redding, Jason York of Craig, and Nigel Rogers of Craig; grandchildren D’Shea, Taya, Natasha, and Vidalia; sisters, Colleen Howerton of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Ginger Seales of Grants Pass, Ore.; and brother, Wendall Rogers of Nashville, Tenn.

Jaramillo was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Wayne and Leon.



Services were held Nov. 18, 2005, at Grant Mortuary with Loren Baysinger officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers were “All Darlene’s Family and Her Many Friends.”

Services were concluded at the mortuary.
