Dan and Carol Moore

Dan and Carol Moore are celebrating 40 years of marriage.

They were married April 10, 1965, in Virginia Beach, Va.

Carol was working for a Ford dealership, and Dan was in the Navy at the time.

In 1972, after being stationed in California, Dan and Carol moved to Craig were they have resided ever since.

Carol worked for a several banks in town, while Dan worked for the U.S. Postal Service, BLM and recently retired from Colowyo/Ken-n-e-cott Coal Company. They have two children, Kathy (Moore) Aldridge, who lives with husband, Aaron, and their two children in Utah, and Daryl, who resides in California, working for State Farm Insurance. Their children would like to invite friends and family to celebrate the occasion with the Moores at an open house from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. April 23 at Dan and Carol’s residence, 1086 Legion St. in Craig
