Assault by soda: On the record for April 21 to 23

Craig — Friday, April 21
1:14 a.m. At Columbine Apartments, officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. A female was sitting in her car singing karaoke, the same woman officers contacted a week ago.
4:33 p.m. At the Public Safety Center, officers took a report of a sex assault.
4:42 p.m. At Stockmen’s Liquors, someone forgot their bicycle.
11:42 p.m. At Woodbury Park, officers contacted two individuals and cited one juvenile for curfew violation.
Saturday, April 22
1 a.m. On the 2200 block of Crockett Drive, a woman was arrested and charged with violation of a protective order, domestic violence, third-degree assault and obstructing a peace officer.
5:04 a.m. On the 1900 block of Crockett Drive, officers responded to a report of a burglary. A female resident was in the basement and could hear someone come in the door. She went upstairs just as they were leaving. A man had accidentally walked into the wrong house.
9:48 a.m. At the old Kmart building, officers responded to a report of criminal mischief involving a broken window.
4:59 p.m. At Centennial Mall, officers responded to a report of a suspicious incident. Three boys were playing a prank by the dollar store. They were tying one boy to the door by his hands and neck and shot a video of it. Someone called the mother and she came and got the kids.
7:44 p.m. On the 2200 block of Crockett Drive, officers took a report of harassment by an ex-boyfriend. The female party had asked him not to come around, but he refused to understand her request.
7:51 p.m. At Sherwood Forest on Washington Street, officers responded to a report of a stolen bike.
10:38 p.m. In front of Elk Liquors at Centennial Mall, a man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Sunday, April 23
12:59 p.m. At milepost 93 on U.S. Highway 40, a two-vehicle car accident occurred.
1:59 p.m. At Ashley Road and the cemetery, officers initiated a traffic stop and arrested a female passenger on a warrant for contempt of court.
4:15 p.m. At Centennial Mall, officers responded to three juveniles riding bikes in the mall. One was trespassed from the mall.
5:09 p.m. At Candlewood Suites, officers responded to a report of an assault. A woman reported that she was snoring and her roommate threw a full soda at her while she sleeping. She moved rooms.
5:39 p.m. At Mathers Bar, officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Two men left the bar and one was bleeding from the head. Officers contacted him and he said he was going to go home and clean up.
6:06 p.m. On Washington Street, officers responded to a report of a sexual assault.
