Craig woman arrested on drug, tampering charges : On the Record — April 15

3:30 a.m. On the 1000 block of West Victory Way, police in Craig responded a suspicious person/vehicle/article call. Craig police said a caller reported a female was possibly passed out in a vehicle at the west Kum & Go. Upon investigation, police said a 39-year-old female from Craig was arrested on charges of distribution/manufacturing/possession of less than one ounce of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.
8:55 a.m. Police in Craig responded to a child abuse/neglect call. Craig police said the case was referred to a nearby law enforcement agency.
12:26 p.m. On the 900 block of Finley Lane, police in Craig responded to a property damage crash. Officers found a minor traffic accident between two vehicles with no injuries and no citation was issued.
5:08 p.m. On the 400 block of West 10th Street, police in Craig responded to a fraud call. Officers investigated a fraud case wherein a caller possibly provided financial information to someone claiming to be a friend in need.
According to the Craig Police Department incident log, police responded to 52 calls for service on Monday.
7:00 a.m. Near the intersection of First Street and U.S. Highway 40, police in Craig responded to a property damage crash call. Officers investigated an accident between two pickup trucks.
