Kickoff is 1 p.m., and spectators are reminded that ticket prices are higher for playoff games.

Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and students and free to children under 7.

MCHS winter sports meeting Thursday

The parents meeting for Moffat County High School’s winter sports takes place at 6 p.m. Thursday in the MCHS cafeteria.

The season includes boys and girls basketball, wrestling and girls swimming, and coaches will be on hand to answer questions. Winter practices will begin Nov. 12, with games and meets starting in December.

The $65 class includes about six hours of instruction and one to two hours of shooting.

Students need their firearm, 50 rounds of ammunition, eye protection, earplugs, lunch and water.

Craig Youth Hockey AssociationCraig Youth Hockey Association is looking to fill its rosters for upcoming seasons with new and returning talent. CYHA is offering discounts to families signing players up for the first time. The registration fee for any of the teams — Squirts, Peewees, Bantams, Midgets — will be 50 percent off for new players. is looking to fill its rosters for upcoming seasons with new and returning talent. Craig Youth Hockey Association is looking to fill its rosters for upcoming seasons with new and returning talent. CYHA is offering discounts to families signing players up for the first time. Additionally, families already involved in the organization who refer new athletes will receive their own discount of $100 off for bringing a new member to the Midget team, $75 for Bantams, $60 for Peewees and $50 for Squirts.

Age is determined by birth year: 10U Squirts were born in 2005 and 2006, 12U Peewees 2003 and 2004, 14U Bantams 2001 and 2002 and 18U Midgets 1997 to 2000.

Registration will continue through Dec. 1.

The early program Mites — born 2007 to 2009 — also offers two five-week sessions from Nov. 9 to Dec. 17 and from Jan. 4 to Feb. 4. New players receive 10 percent off registration.

Adult co-ed drop-in games are available Thursday and Sunday nights. Rates are seasonal or per game.
