Craig police seek help in finding man wanted for dangerous drugs

— The police department is asking the community for help in locating a man wanted for dangerous drugs.

Matthew James Lawrence, 27, is wanted for possession dangerous drugs including 0.38 grams of methamphetamine according to the affidavit for arrest.

A $10,000 bond has been set, also according to the affidavit.

He is an American Indian male about six feet one inch tall, weighing between 135 to 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

Do not approach or attempt to apprehend this individual.

If you have information that may lead to the arrest of Lawrence or another person wanted by the Craig Police Department, contact them at 970-826-2360.

Every Wednesday the Craig Police Department posts a notice to their Facebook page as part of their #WarrentWednesday social media campaign asking for help to locate people wanted by officers.

On Feb. 22 police asked the community to help them find Devon Marie Hillesland, 32, who was wanted for failure to comply for Driving Under the Influence (DUI).

She has been apprehended according to a Facebook update by Craig police where they also thanked the community for assistance.
