Craig police probing purloined pot plant: On the Record — Sept. 6 to 8

Friday, Sept. 6

12:28 a.m. At the Hatten Car Wash, police in Craig responded to a suspicious person/vehicle/article call. A 26-year-old Craig woman was arrested on a warrant from an outside law enforcement agency and charges of unlawful possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, crime of violation of restraining order, false reporting to authorities, and violation of bail bond conditions.  

3:15 a.m. On the 700 block of Tucker Street, police in Craig responded to a disturbance call. 

4:54 a.m. On the 700 block of Tucker Street, police in Craig responded to a disturbance call. Craig police said they issued a citation to a female Craig resident on a charge of breach of the peace. 

7:03 a.m. On the 600 block of Rose Street, police in Craig responded to a theft call. Craig police said they responded to a trailer that was supposedly stolen from a Craig resident’s yard and police continue to investigate.  

7:54 a.m. On the 3000 block of West Victory Way, police in Craig responded to a property damage crash call. Craig police said they responded and cleared a collision between a vehicle and a deer in which the deer was deceased and airbags were deployed. 

8:24 a.m. On the 900 block of Finley Lane, police in Craig responded to a liquor/tobacco violation. Craig police said a school resource officer issued a citation to a juvenile on a charge of unlawful acts – tobacco. 

9:08 a.m. On the 200 block of South Colorado Highway 13, police in Craig responded to a theft call. A caller reported currency had been taken from their vehicle.

10:42 a.m. On the 500 block of Tucker Street, police in Craig responded to a civil problem. 

2:00 p.m. On the 300 block of Hawthorne, police in Craig responded to a follow up investigation. 

8:28 p.m. On the 700 block of Tucker Street, police in Craig responded to a disturbance call. A Craig woman was issued a citation on charges of criminal mischief and retaliation against a potential witness or victim.

Saturday, Sept. 7

9:06 a.m. At the Super Wash, police in Craig responded to a property found/recovered call.

9:24 a.m. At the Mudd Shack, police in Craig responded to a property damage crash call. 

3:58 p.m. Near the intersection of West Fourth Street and Ranney Street, police in Craig responded to a property found/recovered call.

Sunday, Sept. 8

1:50 p.m. At the intersection of a local car wash and Yampa Avenue, police in Craig responded to a traffic stop. A 26-year-old Craig man was arrested on charges of driving while license revoked, no proof of insurance, and no plates attached. 

3:26 p.m. On the 1000 block of West Victory Way, police in Craig responded to a power/gas/phone incident. Craig police said they responded to a utility police that had dislodged in a thunderstorm and struck a fence. 

7:03 p.m. Police in Craig responded to a domestic violence call. 

10:38 p.m. Near the intersection of Finley Lane and West Sixth Street, police in Craig responded to a curfew complaint/violation. A juvenile Craig resident was issued a curfew citation. 

11:34 p.m. On the 100 block of East Eighth Street, police in Craig responded to a burglary call. A caller reported a window had been broken and their medical marijuana plant had been stolen. Police continue to investigate.
