Craig Parks and Rec’s Doak Walker football sees Denver Broncos grant
Craig Parks and Recreation recently announced it will receive several thousand dollars from Denver Broncos Charities for the local youth football program.
The philanthropic organization with the NFL team approved a funding request for the Doak Walker tackle football league to receive $3,000 to support the replacement of overused and outdated equipment through the Broncos’ Community Grant Program.
The program provided about $150,000 to 30 programs across the state.
“The selected organizations encompass all five of the Broncos’ community development focus areas — youth development, quality of life, health and wellness, youth football and civic engagement,” read a news release from the Broncos office.
After four years of hard work, members of Moffat County High School’s Class of 2019 are striving to keep going for greatness in the world, and the Bulldogs who took top honors during graduation aren’t just sitting on their laurels.
