Craig officers investigating multiple reports of theft, burglary: On the Record — Feb. 8 to 10

Friday, Feb. 8
12:38 a.m. Near the intersection of East Victory Way and Russell Street, officers with the Craig Police Department assisted a pedestrian in obtaining a taxi ride home.
10:19 a.m. In Craig, officers received and are investigating a Safe2Tell report.
12:31 p.m. On the 800 block of Russell Street, officers investigated a report of a possible theft of property.
3:16 p.m. In Craig, officers are investigating a possible incident involving drugs.
5:02 p.m. On the 300 block of West Victory Way, officers are investigating a report of shoplifting of about $80 to $100 in merchandise.
8:06 p.m. In Craig, officers are investigating a possible child abuse incident.
Saturday, Feb. 9
12:03 a.m. On the 700 block of School Street, officers assisted a drunken pedestrian. The person was outside in front of his house, and officers determined everything was OK.
12:35 a.m. On the 400 block of Yampa Avenue, officers responded to reports of a fight. One of the parties involved spoke with officers before leaving. No one wished to press charges.
10:10 a.m. In Craig, officers received and are investigating a Safe2Tell report.
4:46 p.m. Near Alice Pleasant Park, officers made a traffic stop resulting in the arrest of a 40-year-old Craig woman on suspicion of possession of a schedule II substance (methamphetamine), possession of a schedule IV substance (prescription medication), violation of a protection order, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
4:47 p.m. On the 500 block of Third Avenue West, officers opened an investigation of a possible burglary. A front door window was damaged, and cash was reported as missing.
Sunday, Feb. 10
8:30 a.m. On the 600 block of East Fourth Street, a person reported someone had broken into his residence. A window at the back of the residence was broken. Officers are investigating.
8:47 a.m. On the 800 block of Yampa Avenue, a man was alleged to have attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill.
11:59 a.m. On the 600 block of Legion Street, officers are investigating the possible theft of a wallet from a vehicle.
2:15 p.m. Near the intersection of Ranney Street and West Victory Way, officers responded to a crash resulting in property damage. A Ford Freestar and a Jeep collided. No one was injured, neither vehicle was blocking the road, and both were drivable. One driver was ticketed.
3:09 p.m. On the 500 block of School Street, officers responded to a possible disturbance when a man called to report his wife, who was not supposed to be in the residence, was there destroying things. The man asked the woman to be trespassed from the property. The incident is under investigation.
4:26 p.m. On the 800 block of Legion Street, officers responded to a cold case of an alleged hit-and-run after they received a report that someone in an unknown vehicle drove onto the grass and hit the building, causing damage to the inside of the building. The outside of the structure was not damaged. The incident is under investigation.
6:29 p.m. On the 600 block of West Sixth Street, officers received a report of possible theft when a person called to report her wallet and keys were stolen from her apartment. She called back before officers to could arrive to report her belongings were found.
9:02 a.m. On the 1000 block of Sage Court, community services personnel in Craig responded to a code enforcement call. A resident was issued a verbal warning for a code violation.
