Craig hotel wins excellence award

Craig Daily Press Staff Report

The Best Western Deer Park Inn and Suites in Craig has recently received the Best Western Chairman’s Award, the hotel’s highest honor for “outstanding quality standards,” Best Western reported in a news release.

The award recognizes hotels scoring in the top five percent of all 2,400 North American properties in cleanliness and maintenance.

To qualify for the award, hotels must also meet Best Western’s requirements for design and customer service.

“Receiving the Chairman’s Award from Best Western is a tremendous honor,” co-owners and general managers Frank and Kerry Moe said. “This award demonstrates the Best Western Deer Park Inn and Suites’ commitment to providing quality accommodations for our guests.

“Our housekeeping and maintenance departments have worked very hard to achieve this level of excellence.”

Located at 262 Commerce St., in Craig, the hotel includes 45 rooms, and an indoor pool and spa.
