Craig Daily Press welcomes new advertising rep

Craig Daily Press Staff Report
Melissa Valentine

The Craig Daily Press is pleased to welcome Melissa Valentine to its sales team as an advertising consultant.

“Melissa is bright and full of energy,” said Advertising Manager Sheli Steele. “I know the community will enjoy working with her.”

Valentine lives on a ranch with her parents in Maybell. She moved to Maybell after a three-year stint in Charlotte, North Carolina, before moving to Colorado.

Prior to Maybell, Valentine’s folks lived in Rock Springs, Wyoming, where she graduated high school. Her mom worked as a lieutenant with the Sheriff’s Office for homeland security and emergency management. Her father was the airport manager and police commissioner.

“They retired, and my dad wanted to get back to country living,” Valentine said, noting that’s why they moved to Maybell. “I’m very excited about this job, because everyone is super nice, and I get to go meet people who work and live in the community.”

Valentine loves to fish, hunt, be outside and hang out with friends and family.
