Craig Concert series to wrap with one-man Beatles tribute
The finale of Craig Concert Association’s 2018-19 season will be just fab.
The last installment of the concert series is at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 2 at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane, with the show “Paul the Beatle.”
The performance is a one-man show by Bob Halligan, Jr., portraying Paul McCartney in a tribute to the legendary individual artist and his time with The Beatles.
Besides singing hits like “Yesterday,” “Hey, Jude,” “Let It Be” and many more by Liverpool’s native sons, Halligan has spent more than 20 years with the Celtic pop-rock group Ceili Rain and has worked with artists such as Billy Joel, among others. He is also an adjunct professor at Syracuse University, teaching songwriting, film scoring, music business, and a class focusing on the Fab Four themselves.
The show also takes spectators on a journey through the Beatles’ career and touches on McCartney’s role in the band and beyond.
Tickets are $20 at the door, and the show is free to members of CCA’s 2018-19 season.
