Craig community, JP Price to be spotlighted in Christmas Eve TV segment
The Craig community and one of its own will be the center of an upcoming segment as part of a Christmas Eve night television news piece.
JP Price and his hometown will be featured in “Colorado with Kevin Torres” which will air at 7:30 p.m. Monday on KWGN. Torres hosts a daily segment on KWGN called “Unique 2 Colorado” focused on “good news” regarding people, places and things in Colorado.
The upcoming piece will include a Craig Middle School football game against rival Steamboat Springs in which Price, who is afflicted by Duchenne muscular dystrophy, scored a touchdown while using his specialty wheelchair.
“Together, two communities came together to make that dream a reality,” Torres said in a news release for the episode. “Craig is a special place and truly represents what ‘community’ is all about.”
