Craig Clean-Up Days start next weekend

City of Craig’s Solid Waste Department will host Craig Clean-Up Days from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 21 and 22 at the north end of Craig City Park.

Among the items accepted in the collection will be used tires and appliances, though the department will not accept these from commercial generators of these.

For more information on materials that will be accepted or how to otherwise participate, call 970-824-5517, 970-824-3278 or 970-824-4463.

As part of the day’s effort, Interstate Batteries will collect used auto batteries to recycle and will donate $5 to Relay For Life of Moffat County for each one they receive.
