Craig City Council welcomes new members, salutes those outgoing
On Tuesday, April 23, Craig City Council saw a shakeup in leadership as newly elected officials took office.
Sworn in by Heather Cannon, new councilors Paul James, Brian MacKenzie and Steven Mazzuca began their terms after being voted in earlier this month as part of the municipal election.
Jarrod Ogden also was sworn in as the new mayor of Craig.
Ogden vacated his council seat in order to challenge John Ponikvar for the position, leaving three spots open for the council race.
Councilor Joe Bird was term-limited for the race, while Derek Duran opted not to run for re-election. Both of them received recognition for their time on the governing body.
