Craig City Council moves meeting time again

Craig Daily Press Staff Report

After a few weeks experimenting with a 6 p.m. start time, Craig City Council decided to move its biweekly meeting to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

At the Oct. 13 meeting, councilor Joe Bird suggested moving the meeting's start from the original 7:30 p.m. time to 6 p.m.

The council voted on the issue and it passed six to one with Kent Nielson voting in the minority.

On Dec. 8, the Craig City Council discussed the topic again after several councilors expressed concerns about having difficulty arriving at the new, earlier meeting on time.

The meeting time was brought to a vote again and the council settled on a 6:30 p.m. start time. Meetings will continue to be held every other week on Tuesday's at Craig City Hall.
