Craig briefs: Upcoming show to offer variety of entertainment

Craig Concert Association’s newest show will feature a little bit of everything from an act that prides itself on variety.

“An Evening with Rebecca and Kuba” will be the latest act in the CCA series, taking place at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Moffat County High School auditorium. The pairing of Rebecca Lowe and Kuba Kawnik brings together two unique talents — Lowe is a singer of country music and show tunes with a Texas upbringing, while Kawnik, originally from Poland, specializes in classical and jazz on numerous instruments including the vibraphone and theremin.

The two were already successful solo artists when they formed a musical partnership and eventually a marriage and family, performing both separately and together, bringing something different to every stage where they entertain.

Membership in Craig Concert Association is $40 for a single adult, $90 for a family, $35 for seniors and $10 for students. Ticket prices for non-members are $20 for adults, $10 for students. For more information, call 970-824-1985.
