Craig briefs: Parrot Heads selling flower arrangements
March 10, 2013
The Northwest Colorado Chapter of Parrot Heads is once again selling flower pot arrangements to help beautify Craig while also raising money for local projects and scholarships.
The 24-inch pots are $95 and will be delivered to homes and businesses in late May or early June. The order deadline is Friday. Each pot will be full of colorful, blooming flowers. The Parrot Heads will pick up the pots in September so they can be returned to the nursery.
Proceeds from the flower pot sales go to Parrot Heads initiatives such as scholarships for Moffat County High School graduates, refurbished instruments for students in band class, and river and highway cleanup projects.
