Golf club dinner set for Thursday
The Yampa Valley Men’s Club is hosting its annual appreciation dinner at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Tin Cup Grill, 2179 Colorado Highway 394. Cocktails will be served at 6:30 p.m., and dinner begins 30 minutes later.
All men’s club members are invited to the free dinner. Dues for this year can be paid at the event.

This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.

Tax Day protest slated for Thursday
The Bears Ears Patriots, a nonpartisan organization, is having a Tax Day Tea Party rally and protest at 5 p.m. Thursday on the south side of the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way.
The event, which will include guest speakers and prizes, is open to the public.
Visitors are encouraged to bring signs and slogans that have opinions on policies rather than people.
“We are encouraging nonviolence and no racism,” the organization stated in a news release. “Keep it as positive as possible, and acceptable for the whole family.”
