Colorado Northwestern Community College will host a free community presentation next week.
Northwest Colorado resident Josephina Kooijman will present “Amsterdam: Resolute, Heroic & Merciful,” a presentation on art, culture, architecture and World War II in the Netherlands. The presentation is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday in Room 201 at the CNCC Belltower.

Free flu shots available for VA patients
Free flu shots for veterans who are registered patients with the Grand Junction VA Medical Center are available on a walk-in basis from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Patients who use the Veterans Affairs medical clinics in Craig and Montrose should call those clinics for details on how flu shots at those locations will be given, according to a news release from the Grand Junction Department of Veterans Affairs.
