Craig — The Northwest Colorado Legal Services Project and the Moffat County Library are sponsoring “Ask-A-Lawyer Night” on Tuesday at the library’s Craig Branch. The event entails a 10 to 15-minute private consultation with a member of the Northwest Colorado Bar Association.
Appointments are first come, first served.
“Ask-A-Lawyer Night” is a free service for low-income residents beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Turkey Shoot set for Nov. 17
The Craig Trap Club will host a Turkey Shoot at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17. The event will include a day of shotgun shooting and prizes awarded for winners. Car clinic open to designated groups
A free car care clinic – available to single mothers, seniors and residents with disabilities – is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 1150 W. Ninth St. Volunteers will check all fluids and top them off if needed, test anti-freeze, air up tires and check treads, lights, battery connections, horn and wipers and arrange for discounted repairs and oil changes if possible.

8:16 a.m. At Loaf ‘N Jug, police in Craig responded to a traffic stop. Craig police said a verbal warning was issued to a driver. Police in Craig responded to at least five additional traffic stops Friday.
