Craig briefs for Nov. 19

— A house is being moved from Elk Head Road to Jensen, Utah, beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday. The route will include U.S. Highway 40 to Craig then First Street and Colorado Highway 13 around Craig back to Highway 40 and on into Jensen.

Some delays and slow movement can be expected along the route between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Program update on “Wellness Wednesday”

The Aging Well Program offers an all-day program, “Wellness Wednesdays,” each Wednesday at the American Legion Building, formerly the Shadow Mountain Clubhouse, in Craig for adults ages 50 and older. Activities are offered from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. including art, writing and exercise classes.

This week’s lunchtime presentation is an update on upcoming classes from Colorado Northwestern Community College by Mary Morris-Shearer, CNCC director of community education. Lunch will be served.

Participants are asked to register for activities before each Wednesday. For more information, call Aging Well information line at 871-7676.
