Chamber elects 2008 officers

Gene Bilodeau, current Craig Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors president, thinks change is a good thing.

At its Nov. 15 meeting, when the Chamber board elected new officers for the coming year, Bilodeau declined a renomination for president for that very reason.

“I think it’s a good idea to keep the club rolling,” he said. “I don’t want us seen as the good ol’ boys and girls club.”

With that, he nominated Bryce Jacobson for president, who was unanimously selected for the position by the board members.

Treasurer Missy Bonaker and vice-president Gail Severson retained their positions, accepting nominations and running unopposed.

The Chamber board officers will begin one-year terms in January. The Chamber selects new officers each year.
