Accountability Committee to meet
Craig — The Moffat County High School Accountability Committee is scheduled to meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Jan. 7 at the high school library.
Meetings begin with a “Let’s listen” session, in which parents may bring concerns and commendations to the group. Whenever needed, additional time and research will be devoted to concerns raised, according to a press release.
The committee meetings serve as an advisory for the principal, as well as a sounding board for new ideas, materials, concepts and concerns from the community. Revisions in high school policies are reviewed, and recommendations are made to the principal.
Editorial board seeking members
The Craig Daily Press is seeking three to four people to participate on its next editorial board, which begins Jan. 7, 2008.
Editorial board members meet from noon to 1 p.m. Mondays to discuss the paper’s opinion piece for the following Wednesday and Saturday papers. Editorial board terms are for three months.
